This is for the one who is going through something. This is for the one who is struggling.
Maybe you have been on a path of joy and discovery, and you don’t understand the roadblock in front of you.
Maybe life threw you a curveball out of left field.
Maybe your path is dark and you feel lost, confused, and discouraged.
I am new to this spiritual path, but there are a few things that I now know for sure.
Here is a big one: Whatever you are going through, you are going through. You are not sitting in it. You are going through. You are not stuck. You are going through.
You are a bit wiser than you were yesterday. It sounds like a cliché, but stop, take a moment, and think about it. Something happened yesterday that carries the potential of growth and understanding. Everything you go through has the possibility to make you stronger, smarter, and closer to your highest self.
Maybe that explanation is too simple; too easy. Okay, let’s elevate the conversation.
When I sit and contemplate my past, regardless of the situation I was going through, I have always come to the same conclusion. In the middle of the struggle, nothing makes sense. But later, I can look back and understand. Later I will know why. Later I will see that everything was working according to God’s purpose or for my highest good.
If that’s too spiritual for you, try this. When a parent is watching their child learn to walk, they don’t love the baby any less, when she falls down. Falling , crying, struggling and being frustrated are simply a part of the process. After the struggle, comes walking, running, skipping, jumping, and dancing.
Whatever you are going through, that’s how the Universe sees you. You are a beloved, beautiful child, going through a necessary struggle so that you can be who you were meant to be. You are simply going through. Just take one more step. It may be steady or it may be shaky. You are one step closer.
That fear can teach you to find a higher, safer place to run.
That pain will prove what you are made of.
That pain will give you empathy for those who are hurting.
You are about to get that breakthrough.
You are doing so much better than you know.
Thank you for this day. Thank you for this struggle.
Help me to know that I am Loved, even when I don’t understand what is happening.
Today, I will try to see my life through your eyes. I will Love and forgive myself when I fall.
I will remember that when I stumble, I am really learning to step higher.
Today, I will take one more step. I will go through.
Thank you for your Love.
Thank you for my path.
