Today’s word: cherished

My story:
Let me clear the air about something. I try to share what I have learned on this platform and yes, I do generally have a positive attitude. But I don’t have everything figured out. Not often, but sometimes, I get tired. I occasionally just don’t have the spiritual energy to fight off all the negativity, anger, and cruelty that this world offers up. Sometimes, by the end of the day, I am simply exhausted, and not feeling very victorious.

I am okay with that because if every day were easy, I’d have no room to grow.

But even on those days when I fall into bed, wiped out, and feeling like my soul spent the day with the business end of a Louisville Slugger, I have one thought that lets me close my eyes in peace.

This is back-to-basics, hard-core fact. I may be rattled and stressed and confused, but this I know for sure:

I am the beautiful, precious, perfect creation of God. I am cherished unconditionally and Loved more than I will ever imagine.

There are some days when that is all I have to cling to, but really, isn’t that all I need? If that is all I ever know for sure, it will be enough.

Takeaway: You will have bad days. You will stumble and disappoint yourself. You will feel lost and unsure and you may have to just go on blind faith moment by moment. But rest assured, there is One who is there beside you. No matter what your day brings, try to remember to just stop and breathe and know that you are not alone. You are Loved with a Love that has no boundaries. You are cherished.

Today’s goal: Today I will put a thought ever in the front of my mind “Love is all I need. Love will see me through.”

Affirmation to go: “If you knew who walked beside you, at all times, on this path that you have chosen, you could never experience fear or doubt again.” Wayne Dyer
